I agree. I am a big fan of Meguiars, very easy to use and very cheap, plus good results with no powder residue.

Hard to compare them all really as all are not the same. Swissvax and Zymol are a more expensive product (goes without saying) and really show their worth when you build up the coverings. My 360 has a deeper shine now and you only have to look at the pictures after Dave has worked on a car. Dave Z is the one to comment. He gave me some great advice. Use up what you got, set a budget and pick the product that best suits that budget.

Zymol:thumbsup:

Their waxes seem initially expensive BUT - they go an awful long way. Initial cost:thumbsdow - cost per application:thumbsup:

Only tried Zymol & autoglym.

Once my stash of zymol finishes, I'll probably end up buying the vintage pot. :cry3:

Tried Meguiars and didn't rate it at all, infact I thought Autoglym was much better.
I think for the money the Harley Wax that Frac lent me would take some beating:thumbsup:but the best is without doubt ZYMOL:thumbsup:

I use Meg's, personally find it very good :)
Used to use Autoglym, but it has a mild abbrasive in it so thats why I moved to Meg's, but I've found an improvement in the finish too :)

Can't afford zymol :D

Zymol is awesome, I also think cost per application is as cheap as the others.
I wax my car once a month and ive had my zymol tub for over 12 months now.

I've used Harley wax for 9 months. Easy to apply, no residue to deal with and looks great for price.

This was a fast moving thread:

- question posed in 2007
- answers in 2008
- decision in 2009

:shocked: :laugh::laugh:

I would go for either Zymol of Swisswax premium products for depth of shine, I personally use Zymol and I have found it great to apply and a tub lasts ages so it is not that expensive. Then autoglym second because it wins in durability stakes and also because it is a glaze, very slightly abrasive and contains fillers so if you have any slight swirling then this is the daddy.
I put Meguires last for me primarily because there are so many choices I get lost and indecisive on what it is I want. Cost wise they are the cheapest but I am not sure on cost per application. However, they do have some excellent products in the range especially the NXT glass cleaner. I have never heard of the other choice so cant comment.

Dave Z the detailer guru says and uses ....

ZYMOL

He showed me his 7,000 pot of Zymol

I have a lower priced Zymol - but as Jason mentioned, it does go a very long way
