I know its not a ferrari but does anyone know of a product to clean chrome exhaust tips on a Merc SL55?:thumbsup:

try windolene its the best product i have used on chrome, hard to believe i know but it works

Spraying alloy wheel cleaner on them and leaving for 5/10 mins before spraying works also. Used it on my SL55 for months and no adverse effects.

I used wonder wheels on mine.

Try a test patch underneath with whatever product you use, just incase it is too harsh.

Be carefull using wheel cleaner on chrome tips guys , yes it will remove any carbon , but as they're not laquered it will burn the chrome.

Probably bets to use Autosol or something like that and a bit of elbow grease :thumbsup:

I`ll have a bash at it myself this weekend Dave, about time I learnt....:thumbsup:

I have megs swirl remover or that imperial hand glaze, which should i use?
