Got a few stone chips on the car. I'm having the car resprayed in the winter, so just want to fill them in temporarily as the white chips show up on the black paintwork.

Anyone got any good tips.

I use a very fine artist's brush and a magnifying glass.Build up the layers of colour then the same with the lacquer.Depending on how confident you feel, once the lacquer is built up you can then flat & polish back with fine wet & dry, G3 and polish.

Try & use a 2k clear lacquer (i.e chemically hardened) as it'll set much harder & make a much better job when polished back:thumbsup:

If you u really just want to cover the white chips a black permanent marker will do the job without the usual touch up stick drips etc.

Thanks for the tips.

think I'll wait for the car to be resprayed. Touching in looks like hard work to me.

use a wooden toothpick lightly dipped in the paint.

(pointy end)
