My god Dave I really have to get you to Zymol my car next time I’m back in the UK! That TDF CS looks incredible! :jawdrop:

You may not remember but I was the guy buying the 360 last August that you suggested me flying you over to Malta to do the Zymol when you didn’t have time to do it before the car left the UK. Wish I’d got it done then TBH.

Actually now I’m thinking about it… The car’s in Barcelona now and an EasyJet return from Stanstead in January is 42 quid… hmmm….

Do you do all the other detailing e.g. engine bay, wheels and leather?

recently sold my 348 and after many many visits to various 355 cars , all with dissapointing results, dug into the savings and bought a 360 Modena F1
what joy,
the difference is light years apart, enjoyed every mile of the 348, but this is a different pack of sausages!
I bought Rosso 322 with minty fresh creama interior pipped in bordeaux with matching carpets, superb car if not a bit dull on the paint polish side, but spent last week (doing a Dave) polishing and a little waxing ,were off and running getting a little more shiny every day, out with the zymol next week to make it stay that way.:laugh:
Had some hassle with the standard gearbox TCU , its a 2000 year car :thumbsdow, Gary at GT Auto tried to do a reset but it wasnt having any really, clonky, high rev pic contact point,slow shifts that sort of thing, so on Gary's advice bought a Challenge Strad TCU £££££ which he fitted and re mapped it,
now its just magic,to say it transformed the car is an understatement, superb smooth gear changing, lightening fast on sport mode, i'd say as fast as my pals 430 I drove at Silverstone last week,so 4 weeks in, loving it, even use it in the rain:)

Gary kindly let me have his spare 360 Challenge yellow rev counter face and fitted it, yeeee ha, thats a good thing to do, replaced the faded yellow wheel centres with the new style from Prosport which are a more intense yellow with a larger horse, they brighten the wheels niceley, looks great against the red calipers,

pic below, just waiting for cherished transfer to happen, then save up for a tank of fuel and go somewhere in it.

trev you need a strad exhaust to complete the package, the sound is one of the best features :thumbsup:

Mark, you'll have to hear my car before you can say that! :tongue3: :dude:

I actually had the optional 360 Racing Exhaust but sold it on after I weighed it! Its damn heavy because its made from Stainless steel. Contrary to popular belief its not totally the racing exhaust that makes the Strad 'sound' like what it does. Ok, on valves it bypasses the backbox completely and sounds like its sound from the cats straight out :grin: but the MAIN acoustic differences are down to;

1. Exhaust variator timing (programmed into the strad ignition software), it dramatically changes the way the 360 sounds regardless of the exhaust your using.
2. Airbox resonator (tuned to give a unique strad sound).

With the above doesn't really matter which exhaust your using as long as its a free flow system. Since those pictures I've had my Timate adjusted so it does quite protrude out so much and it looks much better now.

As for the sound with lightweight Hyperflows (saving 6kg's), Timate system (another 16kg's less than strad's steel boat anchor + 2kg's less fixing brackets ) and full strad software throughout it sound like a Strad on Steroids but with 24kg's LESS weight from just the exhaust alone. Big big improvement. Perhaps I may just weld on the tips.
