Possibly the biggest fixture of the domestic campaign thus far, I'm really looking forward to it

Rumour has it Gary Neville is starting up front so he can score a hat trick. Liverpool's strikers still can't score, and Fowler is cuptied.

my team:

VDS
Nev
Rio(another goal please)
Wes(first choice england centre back)
Silvestre(at least alien head has the experience)
Ronaldo
Smith
Giggs
Park
Rooney
RVN lalalalala

what will the score be?

then next weekend we're off to cardiff WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

the quality of the back four will determine the result .... therefore a home win.

Come on you Scouse! Hopefully get back for the last game and the late goal! Should be a top match either way and if Liverpool get the shooting boots on we might just nick it! (Scousers are good at nicking stuff ;))

That was seriously nasty, must have been a tough free kick to do that damage and hopefully he will be back soon.
On a happier note of course we bloody beat them at last! First time in the FA cup for 85 years (and we are still in Europe!) Not a good year for Man U and they really need to get that midfield sorted out, not the same without Keane and Scholes (plus Smith now too!)

That was a HORRIBLE injury. I had to look away from the replays - too awful to look at. Poor lad.

Damn ! Did the power of free kick cause the injury ? Must be very rare to be hurt like that.

He appeared to fall onto it and SNAP .... with his foot off the floor i doubt if the ball would have done the damage ... lucky it was'nt his nuts.

I was at OT when david busst thoroughly busted his lower leg right in front of us ..... all was reasonably ok until schmeichel decided he would pour a bucket of water onto the turf and hopefully swill away the blood - it did'nt, but splashed all over the place ...... 50 odd thousand people almost puking ... eugh ! .....:puke2: :puke: :puke2: :puke: :puke2: :puke: :puke2: :puke: :puke2:

I'd guess he's going to be out for a long time - he won't play again this season.

What's the problem with Scholes ?

Scholes has an eye/balance prob IIRC. He's been out for a while now. Hope it's not too serious as he's a top player and seems a genuinely nice bloke.

Scholesy's got a problem with an iris, out for the rest of the season. If it doesn't sort itself out he might not play again, as it could cause him to go blind.

The problem with Scholes sounds very serious indeed, you don't get a problem like that and be out for so long then suddenly recover. It isn't like a leg or foot injury for example where it heals over time or at least that isn't how it sounds.
Hope Smith can ride out the long haul injury comeback flight and be back sometime next season. That was a horror injury today and we have to hope he can come back from it unlike Busst.

sums up UTD's season.....no centre midfielders of any quality following keano's departure and having scholsey unavailable and then playing with Fletcher.....wonder if we could "borrow" gerrard.....u can have fletcher...
