Personally I would have preferred McClaren.

The ENGLAND team should be managed by an Englishman. End of story. Personally, I don't think FIFA should even allow foreign managers of national teams. I mean, why stop at the manager? Let's have Ronaldhino and Henry playing for England...

The article does say he has bene offered the job rather than having accepted and been installed as boss. He is a good manager with proven success unlike McLaren... I'd personally prefer Big Phil in charge.

Personally I would have preferred McClaren.

Martin O'Neill was the perfect man for the job
Curbs before McClaren

but have to say, im pretty happy if Scolari takes it.

Scolari has won the world cup and took Portugal to the Euro final. Steve Mclaren has won...the carling cup.
