Anyone know where there's a comprehensive list of the recalls/mods on 550s?

Similarly, what's the story in steering racks, a load seem to have been replaced on the ones I've looked at.

Resurrecting this thread as I'm looking at 550s. Is this a complete list of recalls? Were there any TSBs to be aware of?

Does this means all early 550s should have aluminium instead of magnesium alloy wheels?

Steering racks start to have play at around 30k miles, easy refurb, get in touch if you need to, Air conn drain pipe blocks (furs up) easy air line clearance - you get a wet leg if its blocked under hard cornering, Make sure the pipes in the V have been replaced, these tend to leak every 3 years or so from heat sink, easy repair. 550's are very tough, early cars had a gearbox issue, the oblack one we recently refurbed - we had to fit a new gearbox - so make sure she holds gear well, goes into 1st, 3rd and 5th with natural chunky resistance. Please get in touch if we can help!

Best Regards

Tim.

Thanks Tim.

I saw the last two 550s you had advertised - was a bit suscpicious as they were so cheap!
