After the announcement of Vodafone leaving Ferrari earlier this season, there were rumours that the Italian phone company "Telecom Italia" would replace them. Well tonight Luca di Montezemolo has confirmed on Italian TV that they will indeed replace Vodafone for the 2007 season. Details of the contract have not been announced and its unclear just how much advertising will appear on the car.

Now onto something abit more recent. Ross Brawn has confirmed that the current front wing has maxed out its development so a new wing will be introduced in Monaco next weekend. Its believed that the wing is being tested at Fiorano this week.

MONTEZEMOLO: TELECOM ITALIA WILL BE FERRARI'S NEW SPONSOR
(AGI) - Rome, May 17 - Speaking at the end of a conference held at Luiss university, Ferrari's chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo confirmed that Telecom Italia will be Ferrari's official sponsor as of 2007. "In Monza, as usual," he said "we will present next year's drivers". Under the deal concluded with the group led by Marco Tronchetti Provera, which is said to last three years, the Alice brand will be displayed on Ferrari's new cars. (AGI) .
