Anyone know how the rear quarter windows are fitted in a 308GT4, are they bonded in like the front screen, or a traditional rubber seal?

Thanks

Nigel.

Thanks Malcolm, from the diagram looks like the trim is pop riveted and screwed in?? then the window can be popped from the rubber seal....

Cheers

Nigel.

Yes they are screwed in (#8 in picture) two each side - I seem to recall from memory that they are counter sunk screws. If you are removing them take care as they are no longer available from Ferrari, although I'm sure that they could be matched up at a wholesalers.

Strange timing. I'm replacing the quarter windows on my 348 too -- totally different mechanism. They look to be entirely glued in.

Hi Daniel,

As far as I can recall the glass (#13) sits inside seal (10) and then is fitted to frames (#14 and 15)

Daniel - just realised that you're refering to 348, we're talking about 308GT4 :wink3:
