2400 for a clutch which still seems to burn out alot quicker than a 360.

good indys few and far between, so I would expect to get fully spanked by a main dealer coz the have the market cornered. Many of the Ferrari indies are very very reasonable IMO.

Its just my perception tho'....convince me otherwise Jon..:wink3: :wink3: :wink3:

Well they've got timing chains for one, so that's one less expense, a yearly service is sub 500 at an indi (Mike Pullen on the South Coast, Verdi in London, Carlo at Topgear cars in Scotland, Autoitalia in yorkshire)

New main dealers in Birmingham, Edinburgh

By the way, the 2,400 is the worst case cost if the clutch has taken the flywheel with it. Simon's clutch in his Murcie lasted over 30,000 miles inc. 5,000 track miles (if memory serves correctly) - and it still had meat left on it....

you can't justify a lambo on cost, that's just not the way they work

Very nice Chris:thumbsup: what's your first impressions compared to the 360??

plus points
very well put together, almost porsche like feel
handles much better than 360,really does feel glued to the road
amazing stability at speed(110+:wink3: )
doesn`t feel as quick as 360,untill you look at speedo

minus points
crap seats,very uncomfortable
needs de-cat sports exhaust ,very quiet
gear change notchy
draws a little too much attention

Sytner, both Birmingham and Edinburgh...

Graypaul is part of the Sytner Group.

It's the things you normally take for granted that can cost a fortune with the G. Tyre changes as per 4 wheel drives & blown brake light requires costly visit to the dealer to get the lamp holder out I was informed.

These problems are all overcome on the 06 MY cars

Better seats, very loud, shorter gear ratios, faster gear change and more power

Don't think you can really compare a 360 against the G. The G will always come out on top, it is meant to be a rival to the F430.

Now what would you rather have an F430 or the G????????????

Very true but 430 still 120+, lambo from 85k, and again 06 gallardo 120
An 04 gallardo with all 05 upgrades,fitted with de-cat pipe (+25bhp)
sounds like a bargain:wink3: ,just wish i could get the 6.0ltr diablo out of my head

I'd have the 430 in a flash, no doubt about it :dude:

I don't know anything about the Gallardo really so I'm only going on what I've read here, and on other threads. So this is just my opinion and undoubtedly wrong

But as the G was available long before the 430 was I'd say it was originally a rival to the 360. Or are you just talking about the latest incarnation?

The 430 is probably it's equal now but that just shows how good the Gallardo was that it's taken a replacement model from Ferrari before they have a car that can compete with it

Talking purely performance/handling here.

I'd still have a 430 no matter how good the Gallardo is/was :dude:
