That is rather special, and like a NART 275, likely to be very collectable in the furute. Must be one of the fastest convertables around?

Basically this car is really only intended as a summer car. There were two roof options, one was a hard top with two 'bulges' which make the car look totally strange, I think this contraption was designed by Stevie Wonder sneaking into the room while Mr. Pininfarina was in the bathroom..

The soft top roof is like a pram. It's not very solid but does the job OK. I think it's limited to 80mph or so otherwise it will fly off.

The hard top is/was an aftermarket thing. I believe the soft top rain cover thing came with the car.

By the way the car pictured in the original post was for sale through Maranello's about this time last year. In fact I'm pretty sure the picture was taken in the Runnymead car park by the Thames just round the corner from there. I would think now (i.e. Winter!) would be an especially good time to get a deal on one.

There was one at this year's FOC Concours with an aftermarket sot top, which was much superior to the flimsy one that comes as standard, and also much better looking than the double bulge hard top. I think the hard top comes from a supplier in Germany and I think I recall it costs something in the region of 12K.
