    Default New to Ferrari ownership

Hello all. I just took the plunge and bought my first Ferrari, a 360 Modena F1. Due to my well lets say limited budget, it is not exactly a shining example, but as i have time and a good set of spanners i have set about returning it to its former glory. Only one big problem so far, the ASR and AbS warning lights being on. Depending on which forum you read this seems to be not that uncommon a fault, any ideas where to start looking?

    Thumbs up Welcome

Unfortunately all I know mechanically about 360s is turn it off & see if the reset helps - if its just an orange light its kind of ok

Oh and do the lights go out - the ABS may stay on if its turned off

And roughly where in the UK are you ?

Something silly like 50 sensors that can set off warning lights on a 360.

As Jos says, do a reset via the bonnet switch. Easy to do.

If no luck then get your hands on a SD machine and find out the error codes.

Thanks for the quick respose, im away in indonesia as we speak so trying to get as much info as possible for my week off when i get back, i have done all the reset things as per the manual, biggest problem is, until i get the ABS light out i cant get in an MOT. i do have an OBD2 tester but it wont check the ABS, it is orange, excuse my ignarance here but does the ABS warning light change colour? i should probably point out it had damaged near side front suspension, which has all been replaced

Andy, on a safety related issue I would always get the car looked at by a Ferrari specialist. Not worth taking any risks when it comes to such things.

I am developing quite a good relationship with my local Ferrari dealers parts department, very honest with me when i have ordered service parts, like telling what i dont need to buy. The plan is to get as much done as possible and then take it to them for an inspection and mot and what ever is left that i cant sort out. Might sound a bit sad, but its a dream come true to have my own 360 to come home to,

Emblem looked after my spider for the previous owner before I bought it, from the documentation I got with the car they look pretty good, they are in Dorset
