    O/S inner door card removed...

I'm not sure yet, we will most likely sell her and move onto another project, however I have always wanted one of these.

I nice little reminder of her heritage (poor picture of a 500 lire coin) found under the seat.

Door seals removed by the removal of the retaining plate which is riveted on.

Inner door plates removed, nothing sinister behind them, and the same underneath the door seals, nice and solid.

Sorry for the out of focus shots, I cannot check them very well with my phone camera.

The seat belts will be the next items to be removed, I will not strip down the doors until we are ready to get into the bodywork, they will then be disassembled and taken off the car for preparation and painting. The removal of the engine and gearbox is high on the agenda list, where I will then be able to remove the fuel tanks and check for corrosion in their bases which is a well known weakness.

    I do love my job.

My first Ferrari was a GTB Turbo the later 328 version. It had a big inter-cooler sitting on top of the V fed by a water cooled IHI. Went very well and one of the cars I still miss!
