    Hi,

    Still following!

What's the rationale for carbon on the outside of the tanks? Is it simply impact or puncture resistance?
I'd imagine it will look great also but also be hidden away?

Great! I was beginning to feel lonely and debating whether to stop posting.

I want a belt and braces job and now modern materials enable one to do so relatively cheaply it seemed sensible to add as much crash resistance to the tanks as possible and having gone this far it seemed a small extra cost and I know they will never need to be done again and if anyone does open the panels up, they will look beautiful. And I know it has been done properly bit like a beautiful watch which you cannot see the workings of but you know they are perfect.

I think you will find you are anything but lonely!

I cannot wait to see it come together and particularly see what's inside those Michelotto boxes!

We need one of those "Thank you" buttons that some other forums have. That way you'll see how many avid followers you have on here!

    Inspiring thread this.

It always amazes me how simple it all looks when you just see the bare chassis, once I strip my 355 down the construction looks so simple but so brilliant in the same way.

Really enjoying the thread. Keep it coming. Can't wait to see it finished.

Now there's a challenge. How do you make of 355 that like a F40..........ha..ha.

Its amazing how basic an f40 is when you take it down to the component parts. Keep posting very interesting
