Default F430 what type of fuel is best?

Where can I find out what the correct fuel is for a 2006 F430? Standard unleaded or high octane fuel like Shell V Power or BP Ultimate. What fuel do you use, what are the pros and cons of both fuels?

    I alway's use Tesco momentum 99.
Covered 17k miles in mine on it.
If no Tesco available,an occasional splash of Shell.
Spider,or coupe? Just get one of each.

Shell VP only. If I used anything but Shell VP on my old 360 it triggered off the yellow warning light.

Adam is spot on, if you not using Super Unleaded from Shell/BP etc. you are missing a trick.

I am not keen on Tesco 99 as they add ethanol to up the Octane level. http://www.tesco.com/Momentum99/prod...fits-specs.asp

Also, I have personally had a duff tank full that made a car go into limp mode.

I have posted in the past pictures that show the amount of cleaning that can be achieved using thses fuels.

Also, the timing is advanced, so more power and better economy can be achieved.

Words always fail when I see people with high performance cars not using thses fuels.

    See this

Oh, if you are reading this and have an 458, as this is a Direct Injection engine no fuel goes past the valves ... so that will carbon up and need a de-coke ... but you need to do good number of miles for this.

V-Power given the choice, if its not available I'd only top up enough to get to the next Shell.
