It's completely backfired in fact. Now I'm not attempting to sell it before the summer ends, I have time to get my front bumper painted so will be going to the bodyshop later to book it in. And while it's there, the black plastic covers each side of the engine bay could be more black so think I might get them done....
It was priced too cheap,
I would have expected Cartrights etc to by at that price and then retail it.
Red ones are worth more (or are potentially easier to sell). but good manual cars with low mileage and good history are at a premium in any colour.
Its not quite too late in the season to sell but by end of August most are thinking they will wait until spring as opposed to buying something that is probably just going to sit the garage over the winter. (I once tried to sell a red 360 manual in October) one viewer without money and no offers, tucked it away till end of March, and once advertised again couldnt believe the interest, had 4 buyers wanting to see it in the first few days, held viewings until the first caller came to see it and he bought it, we are still in touch 10 years later :-)
good luck with your sale - whenever it happens,
regards
Scott.
Hi Dave,
Just stumbled across this, if you are still considering selling your 360 drop me a message. (it won't allow me to send you a pm for some reason).
Kind regards
Lee
