Used to frustrate me that the question everyone asked about my Ferrari was "what mileage do you get from it"

Came up with a standard answer of "about 3 - 4 tanks per year" ...... i still have no idea nor need to know actual MPG figures !

So I wonder why the official combined figure is so poor?
I thought my return from Scotland at 29 mpg was almost saintly! 🤣
The other thing Iíve noticed but not commented on is that it doesnít appear to use oil.
Iím sure it does so I suspect because the oil fill volume is so large, it just doesnít seem to register and critically doesnít need any top ups between services 👍

29 is something! Where you drafting behind a truck the whole way

Colleague who is ďmisguidedĒ and has a bmw 2 series hybrid gets 33 on a run from Hampshire to Bristol and he is very light footed!!

I think our Euro trips saw an average of approx 25mpg which I think is reasonable considering the engine.

Nope, Iím way to scared of getting stone chips on my lovely bonnet to get close to a truck!
I was cruising very steadily at about 65 to 70, which at which speed it seems to be working at a very efficient engine speed and load 👍

Today a check over at Stradale Italia in Uttoxeter, itís a new place set up by the ex Graypaul Ferrari Master Technician, Sam Hill.
Very impressive place and after chatting with Sam he really knows his stuff. Critically he has all the diagnostic kit to communicate with everything including the latest stuff like the 488 Pista and 812 Superfast.
I love it when you find somewhere new where the care, attention and expertise matches your expectation.
Is there a place on this site where you can tell people your good experiences with traders because recently Iíve had superb service from a few places.

Very happy with AE but nice to have options.

Thereís no stickies on the site or ways to keep recommendations at the top.

A night without shelter following the gusty winds of this week. The canopy tends to survive a few years before it tears..... replacement canopy from Gala Tents is £100 delivered so pretty good value
