The interior leather refurbishment is complete.
Very happy with the result except that they have not been able to do anything with the saggy drivers seat bolster. They were concerned that the leather may tear, hmmm?
First 3 are as was, other s as refurbed.

I have been meaning to do the seats in my 355 for the last three years, and I finally had a go a couple of weeks ago. I am quite pleased with the result, just not sure about the satin finish lacquer so I might do them again. I used a Gliptone dye kit and sprayed it on. Not perfect but a big improvement.ok

Definitely a big improvement

I agree that a more matte finish looks a little better once in the car though.

Both sets look great. Be interested to see the results of your carpets.

With the Gliptone, do you get a choice of finish

I ordered the Gliptone as a kit, and and it was supplied with the Satin finish.
I had a look at their website and they do four finishes including gloss, matt, and deep matt. I will order the matt and do it again

The seats look fab. I keep my leather great in my lotus with www.liquidleather.co.uk products. A friend of mine is in the trade and uses their stuff in the workshop. They also do a good car care range www.auto-mate.co.uk. Now it looks fab keep it that way especially with a great conditioner. It takes time but it is worth it.

These look superb, excellent work! Sorry, I know it's a bit of an older thread, but I'm looking to sort the drivers bolster in my car. It's Crema, but I have red stitching. Any advice how NOT to dye the stitching along with the bolster anyone?
