Hi Chaps, I'm off to Manchester with the breadknife this weekend for me birthday.
Any one know of a good restaurant either chineese/thai or Italian

A fantastic Thai is The Blue Elephant, Fulham Palace Road, and that's about as near to Manchester City centre as anyone should get!:doublemac :minigun: :chainsaw:

The Hang Seng is rated as one of the best Chinese in the area. Mingle around Chinatown, at the back of the Piccadilly bus station, and you can't go far wrong

Not been to Manchester centre for a while,,but as Graham says the Hang Seng is good(or was last time I went).You could try the Printworks,plenty of bars and restaurants there. http://www.theprintworks.com/

i am staying down in london next sat night with my wife, best mate and his mrs because its my birthday. Would like to go to an exclusive decent club in central area. used to go to montys on sloane st, but my contact has gone.

Do any of you guys have membership to somewhere special that i could borrow ? pleeeeeease.

Yeah that's the one I meant! It's been 5 years since I worked in Manchester :( I think the Hang Seng is some stock exchange somewhere :tongue3:

Best Chinese on Britain they reckon. I went there once and I could see why

3 very good italian restaurants around St.Peters square, close to Deansgate Locks for good bars and comedy club
