Club Scud Welsh Weekender IV - May 2019

Just back now and what a great couple of days. Many thanks to Mike and all who made it happen, nice to put faces to forum names too!
Mrs L is sitting quietly with some alcohol, Lol! That Elan valley was great and I followed a very enthusiastic local so that was a laugh. Not so was the amount of B roads on the way back as the A road I wanted to go was closed. Altogether, a fabulous time with great company, venue, roads, food - everything!
 
Once again a brilliant weekend. Thanks to Mike and the others who assist in arranging a superb weekend.
And the weather was awesome too.

Maxine even said she enjoyed it, despite her apparent near death experience this morning. Not sure what she means??

Heather and myself would also like to say a huge thank you to Mike and the team for arranging yet another fantastic weekend... one of the hi-lites of the year for me. ... Great meeting up with friends old and new . Roll on 2020 :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
Thanks so much Mike.....brilliant weekend again and the bonus route back through the Elan this afternoon was a great idea.
First time we’ve driven it ‘backwards’.
Tired now, filthy car in the garage, looking forward to the next.
Over 500 miles door to door...

Arrived home at 17.30, tired but elated, car's been cleaned and put away - well what did you expect🙂

what an utterly fantastic weekend, great company, cars, roads and scenery that can't be bettered anywhere in the world!

Great to meet up with familiar faces and great to see some new too, nice to meet Connie and Giles, Jac and Russell and to see our good friends Steve & Lesley and Geoff & Lyn join the event 👍

Huge thanks to Mike Davies for the brilliant drives and to Mike Mather for organising the accommodation and group dinner

Mike D please pass on huge apologies to Alison for encouraging you to drive a bit faster than you might, particularly with the sportbikegate incident, tell her it was all my fault :laugh:, also tell her I've a plan for next time that means she and Katy can enjoy the weekend without being in the cars for the faster drives :thumbsup::dude:

I'll get in touch with the various photographers and post pics/ video links here and facebook and if you want hi-res for personal use I'm sure they'll accommodate

I'm working through my (actually mainly Katy's) pics and video and will post over the coming days :thumbsup::thumbsup:
