Recommendations for Independent in North of England - preferably Yorkshire

My typo, that should say Italia Autosport not Auto Italia.
Thanks, I am probably going to either use Ferrari Nottingham who have been excellent at fixing an issue (for free) that Ferrari Birmingham quoted almost £1000 for. They are responsive. I could continue with Migliore Cars in Bromsgrove who looked after my 360 then 430 for about 14 years and are excellent but not sure that the 488 is something they do much of, I will ask.

What happened? DM me if you don't want to post publicly.
Sorry, onLy just seen your message today.
I bought my first Ferrari, a 308, from Pogson some years ago now. The car had a fsh, all recent stuff with him. When I bought it there was 6months left on the MOT so when it was due I took it back to him. He didn’t carry out the test, it was done nearby, anyway he rang me after the test to say it had passed but that he had to do some work for it to do so which, from memory was well over £600 (remember, this was about 18years ago). He explained what after he had done the work and without discussing first with me, and more to the point how does a car with a full history, much of it by him, and having travelled about 2000 miles since purchase need so much work doing to pass an MOT.
I have spoken to a number of Ferrari owners who consider him to be a rip off and I certainly refuse to go back.

I just bought a 355 from John. They were superb throughout the transaction and follow up. I trust them and hear nothing but praise for them, even from competitors in the industry. I liked the whole setup there and the team. I also think their prices are fair value.

I guess its all down to personal experience.

My friend took his California there and they were amazing. I’m going to use them for my 488 service. Thanks for the tip.
After hearing great reports about them r I ecently used Michael at Enso Automotive and cannot praise them enough. Initially contacted Michael when had misfire on my Ferrari F355 and he offered advice as to how to go about sorting it , which I managed to do myself. Few months later took car for service and did a great job and reasonably priced.

I would also recommend Nick Cartwright (nr Matlock, Derbyshire) who serviced car last year. I would have gone back but Enso only 15 miles away whereas Cartwrights over 100 miles.

Took the car to AutoItalia for a cambelt change two years ago. I asked then to keep me informed on any additional work which they did up to a point. However did other work without my consent and ended up with a significantly bigger bill than expected ...I was not happy and will not be going back
