Whats the most you won or lost at a casino?

I have never lost at a Casino! - only play Blackjack, never got on with roulette! I'm very good about quitting while i'm ahead or breaking even and make the most of the free food and drink

To be honest though, i've never been risking huge amounts so even if i lost it would be less than £50 anyway

Most i won was about £80..

Just lost £50 :thumbsdow

But saw someone loose heck of a lot more...

Won about $200 in Vegas one night in the late 80's playing Blackjack.

Popped into Cesars Palace and saw one bloke lose $15,000 in one hand  At the time that was more or less what I paid for my brand new 5.0 V8 convertible Mustang GT.

I think he got the better deal Nige

Did you have a medallion and a chest wig too?

About a year ago I was at 50 StJames when some youngish (20s) French guy was there with his parents.

He cashed in a £250,000 credit line

Watching him lose it all playing roulette with £5k chips was really hypnotic

I actually got the impression it was quite a regular thing for him

Different World

about 5 years ago in the bellagio a guy was betting 100k a hand on black jack and losing it too, until he doubled his bets and got black jack... he was in shorts and a crumby t-shirt...

I have won £480 and £160 but the ive only been 3 times.

1) went with friend around 6 years ago who is a poker man, he told me he would have 3 spins of the wheels doubling up each time, he did as he said, bet £40, then £80 and then £160, he walked out with £360 and we went for a currie and I was shocked, we were in there less than 5 minutes !!!!

2) went with same bloke and my wife as I was mesmirised by him winning 2 weeks before, I had £1500 on me, £500 was for gambling that I was prepared to lose, I actually won £480 but my mate who took £1000 lost his completely, then loaned him my £1500 then my £480 and then took £300 from the cash machine.
He lost in total £3280, me and the wife fealt sick, he put on a brave face but as he is a taxi driver I knew he couldnt afford it, we fealt awefull and swore we wouldnt go back.

3) Last year, the day we got the ferrari, we went to the birmingham wheel on hagley road, we had around £500 but was only going to spend about £100, we actually walked out with £160 more and had a decent meal and drinks there too.

It doesnt float my boat to be honest.

I have had two very large losing sessions, one at the opening of the Crown Towers Casino in Melbourne in 1998 over 4 days, and one in Las Vegas in 2000 (3 days).

Without going into specifics I lost extremely significant amounts of money on both occasions and as a result have dramatically changed my gambling habits.

By normal standards I guess I still have an issue, but I now only wager amounts that I don't mind writing off.

I've never lost any gambling, I always seem to be lucky. But I did LOSE over $600 in Vegas in my hotel room, but getting drunk and leaving the hotel without packing. :cry3:

Bought 20 quid of chips at Sgt Yorks in Brighton and lost it on roulette in 4 spins :D

I only bought the chips because I was with my gambling mates and was bored. At the time it was the only place in Brighton you could get an alcoholic drink after 2:00 am  That’s the only reason I went with them :D

Never been into gambling which is a shame as there is a 5 star casino next door to my apartment. I use it for the restaurant. They think I’m mad because I’m the only punter that pays for my meal on cash or card. All the other diners pay with chips or vouchers.

My brother works in the Casino industry and comes back with some amazing stories from Russia and Eastern Europe. :dude:
