Would the people that keep viewing and not posting please have the decency to post. You are killing the forum. The forum requires discussion in order to remain a source of entertainment for us all.

Thanks:thumbsup:

It's fair point fellas/ladies....... we're an OK bunch here, but it can get a bit "samey" with the usual suspects posting everything!

So why not a chat about any car related stuff you did over the weekend (to keep it vaugly relevant to this place).....!

Perhaps if you could have titled this thread, "how can we get infrequent posters more involved" it would have had a greater chance of staying on subject.

Just titling it "windowshoppers" is just inviting hijacks.

its very nice that you guys have all chipped in - but i am more interested in those that continually view and dont post - very poor show:thumbsdow

Not a miserable bugger - just struggle to understand the concept of being a source of entertainment for people that cant be bothered to participate.

I think it is just a forum thing; Fchat was no different.

Oh yes of course, how silly of me.:) You know, as well as i do, - it would make **** all difference. It would still get hijacked and the viewing figures would still be bore than 10 times the amount of posts.

Ok, spent the last week in snowdonia, didn't see any exciting cars particuarly in the 'evo triangle' but a friend of the in laws managed to drive her car into a wall, anyway to cut a long story short Gwyndaf Evans (Rally driver) turned up on a low loader to take the car away!! Turns out he has got a Ford dealership in Dolgellau.

I've always wanted to meet someone famous!:)

Just don't let it bother you. Better to not post at all than post inane crap (that's what keeps people away).

People will reply and post up if there's interesting stuff (i.e. that interests them) to post about.

And yes, there will be a lot of people who simply use the forum as an information resource and who may never post. So what - as Stig says it's all part and parcel of the forum beast. I agree that it's a wee bit selfish, but it's better to rise above it. Horses for courses and all that.
