    Hmmmm… Seems like a fairly close conversion but it just doesn’t look right. I think it’s how the wheels fill the arches and the side views.

    I have thought that the 360 and 430 do look bit similar. I am sure the majority of people would consider that a 430 rather then a conversion.

    Default An 360 that looks like an F430 but drives like a 360...

    Well essentially the F430 is an evolution of the F131 chassis so there is no reason why a conversion like this cannot be done. I personally enjoy the styling of the 360CS more but thats to my eyes...

    Ofcourse the main 'move the game on' differences of the F430 vs F360 where the technical upgrades. These where started with the 360CS and completed with the F430. For starters the Alcoa aluminium floorplan was stiffened (several sections have criss cross ribbing, especially in the floor plan to reduce flex and effects of aluminium fatigue as the cars get older). Not only that but Ferrari improved chassis suspension setup and ofcourse added 722 cc's worth of extra capacity, oh and ofcourse that trick rear differential. All adding up to an even better drive. Copies will never do all the main improvements that make the difference between a 360 and a F430 in the first place!

    From a cosmetic point of view they look very different but they do share many cross-over parts, the same roof, doors, door glass, rear quarter glass, front bonnet and windshield. Main cosmetic differences are exterior rear quarter panels, front & rear bumpers, side skirts & front lights (+ front wing sections). New 'enzo' edge styling wasnt the reason for the F430.

    Personally i'd rather do it the otherway around, start with an F430 and retro fit 360CS styling parts to make it look sexy again

    Nor me it would end one of those moments when you would fall asleep with 'its actualy a 360M not a F430 and it cost me....' Buy a feckin f430 looser.
