Cheers guys, will give Halfords a punt in the morning. Incidentally this page on Eurospares seems to give a fairly comprehensive list of the various colour codes...

Found this place the other day;
http://www.paints4u.com/
Click 'car touch up' on the left menu. They'll do an aerosol for just over a tenner plus delivery, as well as doing it by the can for brush use and also supplying various scratch and chip repair kits. If you put 'rosso' in the colour search you'll get a load of hits. If you search on the code, it looks like you only need the number not the 'f' on that site.
Dear Comrades,
A timely caveat: there is more than one Rossa Corsa so do make sure that you present the supplier with the correct paint code - it's usually situated
within the front compartment.
With kind regards,
Road Burner
There are many versions of Rosso Corsa and the paint number is NOT the perfect way to getting the right colour for your car for various reasons, mainly aging effects. The best way if you want a real match is to go to a reputable body chop and match your colour with a swatch. The body shop can then get you the best colour match paint for about a tenner. Mind you I doubt that you will get a brush with it for that.

Halfords were able to mix me a touch up stick of FER 300/L (84-90) by following a 3 colour recipe. Looks about right although it hardly seemed the most scientific of processes... pot on scales, dash of this, dash of that, "that about right gov?". Still he only charged me 99p () so if it doesn't look right on the first chip I'll give Maranello a go
