That makes 5 if you include 2 of the other ones I've been asked advice about & not just confined to scratches but pretty inherent paint/prep issues

Don't take it away from the dealer and if it's delivered to you, send it back on the truck. And keep your final payment.

In this climate I would expect them to **** bricks thinking they'll have it on their hands.

At the very, very least, give the dealer principal Dave's number and note that he fixes it at the dealer/Ferrari's cost.

Unless people complain hard, they will continue with this ****ty service.
Bloody right too Murph. I cannot agree more.

I'd take them to court and seek some compensation.

I had a company from Milan do a telephone survey for Ferrari. I told them all the problems and the guy was amazed. He said 'well Ferrari pay my Company a great deal of money to carry out these suveys and though I cannot guarantee it I am sure Spa will call you ' Obviously they didnt and that was a month ago . They are total rubbish when it comes to Customer service and regardless of what anyone says dont give a sh-- We all know Ferrari monitor these forums so come on ferrari ring me Let you know BUT you all know they wont.

    Frankie,

Is it just a few scratches? not real deep gouges or actualy paint defects ?

Tell your Dealer that the paint is not what youd expect from a new car !! Tell your dealer that Dave is going to do paint correction as he did on my car and get Dave to email his quote over to your dealer for their clarification .

Its your new car and should be PERFECT MATE!!

Pm me if you want more info

    Joe

Hi Frankie, fellow Glaswegian here with a Scuderia.

Only recently noticed similar surface scratches on same two areas of roof, just visible at certain angles. I'll be getting these areas sorted with paint correction and seems now may be a good time, with Sportscar Protection in sunny Scotland soon. Maybe Dave can do us a double Glaswegian discount?

I'd also like to try get rid of the stubborn flies, that have been embedded into my paint protection film at high speed.

Does Ferrari S.p.A. truck the cars directly to Ferrari UK in enclosed carriers or do the cars get shipped to the individual dealers directly from the factory?

They are trucked over by a company called Mercurial Tony. I've seen one of the trucks en route to Graypaul and they are articulated curtainsiders. It didn't look impressive considering the cargo. Lamborghini use Willi Betz who have a fleet of specially built box trailers that are very impressive (sorry that's the former logistics anorak in me coming out ). The Betz trailers have motorised decks and can carry up to 6 cars I think. If you saw one on the road you'd never know what was inside it. The interesting thing is that the drivers are Germans which is rare for Betz which employess a lot of eastern Europeans (even though it's a German haulier albeit operating across Europe). The German drivers are evidently reserved for the more specialist work. I've seen one of these trucks delivering new cars to Lamborghini Birmingham and the cars are extremely well cared for and covered with protective film.
