    Default The Restaraunt Thread

    Thought it may be an idea to start a thread so we can name some of our favourite restaurants and locations for other FCar members to share.

    I'll start the ball rolling with

    Just outside Oxford http://www.thedashwood.com/ Went there last week and served the best food I've ever enjoyed.

    Maldon in Essex http://www.jamesrestaurant.co.uk/ Very nice food, excellent staff and very good value

    The Square in Mayfair
    Electric Brasserie and Cinema on Portobello Road
    Favourite everyday non-fancy restaurant for decent Italian food : Bordello's (in Wapping) and La Figa (sister restaurant on narrow Street)

    I highly recommend ANDREW EDMUNDS in Lexington St W1. V Romantic

    You can't beat Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons for top quality cooking though. Even if you do have to save up a bit

    Well if it's less stratospheric prices we're after i reckon you can't beat the Gourmet Burger Kitchen chain. There a about 6 or 7 dotted around London
