Yes I have been following that with great interest.

I wanted a 512 to do exactly the same but was unable to find one that needed this level of restoration. IIRC he paid £80k for it and I would have done the same in a heartbeat.

I know this is his thing making YouTube videos but I think he does a good job of it and makes it very interesting.

Ladbible have picked it up and ran it as a speeded up video - he is now well over 1.5m views - likely to be his full time career soon.

Great angle in an already crowded space - wish him well - have enjoyed his channel and ones like it at the direct cost of print media.

Donít bother with that much anymore.

Quite incredible isn't it how fast a technology can virtually disappear - Respect to Harry Metcalfe for bailing out of EVO when he did.

The new posh mags for old folk are amusing - like 'limited edition' deluxe vinyl and CD packages - so quaint

Makes interesting viewing thatís for sure, although Iím not sure where he is trying to get to with the bbi? Even at the price he paid, unless somebody really wants a project or that particular car it will be interesting to see if he makes money from the car itself, given what they are selling for at the moment.

Still, fair play to him for establishing what he has done, and showing that you can work on these cars yourself.

As to magazines; Iíll take the ďold manĒ badge please. I really dislike online magazines and quite like a hard copy I can lounge in the bath with reading.

No doubt - always young fogeys and senior teenagers around.

I just canít do new media AND old print media - I donít have time.

Something new things I do precisely because they save me time to do other things - like internet shopping.

    More time for driving :-)

Indeed, like multi tasking. Absolutely bizarre coincidence but scanning Facebook as I opened CS. This opened on a comment from you and Facebook opened on a comment from you. You're everywhere Mod

And yes, I know, I'm a young fogey
