Default Adding a 'Bumpy Road' switch to put suspension in comfort while in sport on a 360

I see this has been done before and is simply a switch to interrupt the signal to the ECU.

    Anyone done this themselves?

    Thanks Rob

Hmm, I'm not really sure why you'd want to do this. The 360 doesn't really have a 'comfort' setting. They're either pretty firm or more firm

The switch when fitted puts the car in sports mode but leaves the dampers in standard setting which gives better handling on less smooth b roads.
Basically the same as the shock symbol on a newer car like the F8

    Rob,

give Aldous a call or e-mail at AV engineering (http://www.avengineeringltd.com). He sent me some instructions - wouldn't want to just cut-and-paste them on here without his permission, but I'm sure he'll send them to you.

I'd be curious to know how it was done, too.

On the 360, the SPORT switch is wired directly into the Suspension ECU (nothing else). It must be the Suspension ECU which tells the Engine ECU and F1 TCU (if applicable) that the SPORT mode has been selected (on data lines). I can't see how you could tell the Suspension ECU to ignore the SPORT switch and not affect the other computers.

Interrupting the SPORT switch wiring going to the Suspension ECU with another switch stops everything.
