180996 Is showing as an older level alarm siren for the 360 and is significantly cheaper than 177148. Has anyone fitted 180996 and it worked ok?

The LED for the immobiliser/alarm is illuminated whilst driving, so I have removed the siren and the 3.6V batteries are fine, at 4.1V each. Anyone have any experience of what else it could be?

Has anyone fitted the geniune aluminium cap to their PAS cap. I’m not sure I have the correct one as it seems near impossible to fit, especially with the plastic cap having a taper. Photo attached.
