I've always struggled to get rear tyres in the correct size for my 550 and have had to use Bridgestones the last few times.
I want Michelins, and noticed a 550 for sale with 285/40 Michelins on the back, which I can get in a PS4S. Has anyone run rear tyres in this size? Standard is 295/35 for...
Fuseboard and Tubi back boxes from my 550 for sale. Fuseboard is spares or repairs - was working in my car with some modifications, but would make an ideal blank if you need a new fuseboard (new ones NLA). £200.
Tubi back boxes have done approx 25k miles, in excellent condition. Assume they...
I'm looking to go back to standard back boxes on my 550, with the OEM valves. It's looking cheaper to buy the parts (silencers and valves) separately, and I've found exhaust valves for the 360 that look the same as the 550 ones.
The part numbers are different to the 550 ones, anyone any ideas...
I'm looking at switches for my 550, and I notice that some of the dash switches change at a certain assembly number, ASR, fuel flap etc

Any idea why that is? Would a switch from the newer assembly number work...
Anyone ordered anything from Larini direct before? I placed an order for some back boxes for my 550 on 3rd August, and paid in full via credit card. I was told they would be made in September.
I chased a few times from then on, and it was difficult to get hold of someone who knew what was...
To celebrate turning 40, I had been looking for something to add to the current motley selection of cars I have. I wanted a 360 or 430 to go alongside the 550, however I couldn't reconcile the prices being asked with the value I seen in the cars. Add that to the fact that the nearest indie or...
Interesting video comparing the running costs of a 550 to a Scud. Can't take this example as proof that one will always cost more etc but interesting nonetheless.

One thing to bear in mind is that the 550 has 100k miles on it...
The nomination window has closed, and there is only one nomination. Therefore this is a simple for/against poll for the election of Pete(nosevi) to the committee.
Please note voting will close on 9th March as per original thread guidelines
Dear Fellow Member,

I've seen this mentioned on YouTuber JayEmm's channel (he has a 550). Anyone have any experience of it? It's a program for 360/430/599 era cars to keep them in the dealer network, with dealer rates of allegedly £75 per hour - according to JayEmm anyway.
I've emailed the nearest dealer to me...
With too much time available to browse the classifieds, this weekends' slightly impulse purchase was this:
Excuse the daft angle on the pic, Mrs fish does this for every photo she takes for some reason
Harry seems to think so...

Dear Fellow Member,
I've been asked to do the honours as RO ... for reasons unknown I've agreed, and as I've never done this before this may be amusing for all concerned. Anyway...

This has probably been done to death, but I'm interested in current thinking on cambelt change intervals - with us in the UK remaining on 3-year, and the US IIRC on 5-year intervals.
It's coming up for the 3-year change on my 550, but the car will only have done about 7k miles in that time. I...

Thoughts? First 'modern' Ferrari I've seen retro-fitted with the classic open gate. I assume it's been converted to be...
Never really been into it as such (miserable Scottish git), but I thought that if I was going to do it I might as well do it properly... turned out better than I thought!

Nice work if you can get it! Something tells me someone looked at this car at the auction, and it either had...
My air-con isn't working. Now obviously this isn't normally a problem in the NE  but a V12 does soak a lot of heat into the cabin so I'd like it fixed. I don't know if this is related to my dying fuseboard, or just coincidence. It's always been brilliant before.
The issue I have which...
