Myself and others have shared various methods for dealing with sticky vents, panels and switches etc. My vents were fine but recently became sticky this year so needed attention.
During various net surfing I came across a recommendation for Dunlop 65 which is used to clean the fret board on...

Wanted a left hand exhaust header for a 5.2 355.
Even one with blown pipes would be fine provided the heat shields are in good condition but prefer a serviceable original.
I need a new rear frame for my repair. It is the part that attaches to either side at the rear quarter, runs underneath the air filter boxes and the exhaust also hangs off this rearframe.
The F1 part is available new from Ferrari so I would like to see what extra brackets or differences there...
As some will know, since selling my 355 berlinetta I have been looking for another project.
I contacted Gordon from his post last week after he suffered an unfortunate experience with a tree and I am happy to say he sold me his car which I brought home yesterday. A March 1997 car with just...
I have now sold my 355 so looking out for a replacement.
I sold the car mainly because there was nothing left for me to do to the car. Perhaps a little odd to some but working on the car is where I got my ownership enjoyment.
Looking for a car requiring work, another 355 would be good, a...
Washed the car at the weekend and the car alarm died.
After a lot of messing around, found a buried fuse blown and to cut a long story short the siren has given up, keeps blowing the fuse and burning smell, pics below.
Needless to say, the car will not start without the siren and too many...
I have been looking for a 512bb / 512bbi in need of restoration for some time, too long really the way the prices have escalated.
Some may have seen the advertisement in the FOC magazine for a project car without engine, interior etc. I went to see the seller regarding the car and here are some...

Time to change my CLK 270CDI with 134,000 miles and decided to buy this.
Dec 09 with 18k miles. Surprisingly was not fitted with COMAND so having that retrofitted at main dealer before pick up.
Really like the colour (diamond white metallic) gives a pearl look. Pano roof is nice too. Leather...
Well my dashboard vents finally suffered from the sticky goo problem. They had been fine but over the last six months went downhill fast.
I have them all out and in the process of cleaning.
I had considered sending them to Robbie at Stickynomore but the DIY in me prevailed.
I now need to...
As some may have seen in a previous thread, I recently repaired my speedo. As there is no spline to key the pointer it is a bit of trial and error to refit in the correct location.
I downloaded one of those speedo apps to my iPad in order to get it close. At 30 & 40 MPH it was correct but...
My speedo has not worked since getting the car back on the road after my engine out work and gold connector kit etc.
I have replaced the usual speed sensor on the gearbox, I have checked the wiring which seems OK so am suspicious of the speedo (although it worked fine before the engine out). I...
I read a little while ago a post on here (perhaps around 6 months) that someone used this company to refurb some magnesium wheels.
http://www.rimstock.co.uk/index.php?identity=home
I cannot find the thread to see the result/comments, has anyone used this company or seen the results?
I like...
I needed some more oil and did a little search for a good price.
I found this on the web and at £78.80 for 3 x 5 litres seemed a good deal:
http://shellhelix.co.uk/index.html
If you are local to Stockport, you can save another few pound by collecting.
Well it has been over 4 years since the last engine out service, cambelts etc., (the story here http://www.clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?17945-355-Engine-Out-Servicing)
This winter it was time to repeat with a few other jobs I did not do last time.
Before I took the engine out...
