Quality Headlines

Got the idea from the quality chants thread. I will start this with a headline that I do not consider will be bettered.

The background, from memory, was taht the almighty Celtic had been knocked out the Scottish cup by the relatively unknow Inverness Caledonian Thistle a few years ago. ICt is known as Cally for short.

The next day's headline in the Daily Record (I think) was :

Super Cally are Fantastic, Celtic are Atrocious - or for those who cannot say it properly :Supercalafragalisticexpialidocious.

It was actually 'Super Cally go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious'

It was also the headline in The Sun :smile:

From an England vs. Sweden game a few years ago with Graham Taylor in charge:

Swedes 1 Turnips 0 - the picture of Taylor as a turnip was superb!

1974 - was that not when Scotland were the only unbeaten team in the tournament? 1978 would be when we beat the runners up in the group stages. Glory days for us.
