My fire extinguisher according to the dial is below pressure. Not sure if they can be refilled or just replaced.
Anybody have any idea?
I would be surprised if yours could not be refilled. We have a company who looks after our fire alarms and extinguishers at work. I'm sure you will have similar near you.
:laugh:Took mine out..!!! .if theres a fire in my car ....which has a tank of petrol... then I'm not going anywhere near it.. run awayyyyyy

Agree - but on the two occasions I have seen car fire extinguishers being used they were being used on someone else's car!

Malc, can you post a pic of the fire extinguisher in your 360 please.
Interested to see where it sits.

I'll do that tonight. I have found a company in Chorley who will refill it and so the pictures will be of the clips on the transmission tunnel only.
Pete, the FE is for extinguishing other car fires, if mine goes up I'm out there. It took me a good few minutes to release the clips
I have the factory fitted extinguisher in my lowly "poverty spec" car and its a pointless accessory, as the time it takes to unclip it, is the same time as it would take me to run a hundred metres away. 100 litres of fuel will make a spectacular fire
Whilst I remember can you make a note not to put my car out.....
I want it to be a no debate insurance claim and not a breakdown
How ‘burnt’ does it need to be to claimable?

Anyway Mike it is noted :tongue3:, we'll use it to keep us all toasty should that happen.
