Lincolnshire Charity Sports & Supercar Day - 10th Sept 2011

The Fifth Annual Sports and Supercar Day will be held at the Jenny Wren Inn in Susworth as per the previous years since 2007.

The date is to be set for the Saturday 10th September 2011.

I am hoping we can gather more sports and supercars for this years charity event to help raise money for a local charity (TBC).

The format for the event will be the same as the previous years; were car owners come along and the public (passenger) donate from £10 to £30 per passenger ride (depending on car) a pre determined driving route approximate 6 to 10 miles will be used in a sports or supercar of their choice.

All passenger ride proceeds raised will go to the charity in full.

Again this event can only be a success if car owners are willing to support the event as without you money cannot be raised.

Further details of the event will be posted and I hope you car owners will be willing support this event.

I will put a list together for who is hoping to attend so all can see what cars will be coming along.
Please add your name and car to list if you’re willing to attend to offer passenger rides to the public.

Drivers to be at the pub for ~1030 hrs for a welcome chat, free bacon rolls, free tea and coffee and meet the other drivers and see the cars. The main event will start at 1200 hrs midday for rides.

There is no set number of rides you have to do either.

Many Thanks and Kindest Regards,
Justin

Just got back from Jordan (the country not Katy!) but the weather forecast is good for tomorrow so I will dust off the 430F1 and be there as close to 10:30 as possible. Can't stay all day but I will be able to do a few runs until about 3pm if thats OK

Not many FCars turned up but we still had a great day. It was good that the 360 spyder, Justins CS and my 430 were booked solid all the time we were there  I would have been gutted if no one wanted a ride

Anyway, seems the Porsche boys are more up for it than us here "up north". Several really nice ones turned up (I particularly like the lovely orange GT3 RS) plus TVR, vintage bentley, Astons, Jags, a lovely NSX, Atom, couple of Exiges, Elise, M3, Z4M Coupe and Cab, V10 R8, Escort Cossy, the list goes on

Well done to Justin for organising the event. I look forward to next years. I especially look forward to hearing the CS again. Absolutely EPIC!!!!!

Guys it was a great day and thanks for all your support, would not be possible without you guys. We raised £1125.00 in 4 hours which is great and the charity is over the moon. Many Thanks again. :D
