Littlehavens september 9th change of plan 2012

Tony, must have missed you as I only got there with the Noble just before 3pm.Think I made up for lost time as ( understandably)there weren't many cars left by then, shame as I would have liked a peak at your car. If your car is arh 23,it appears we have a mutual mate in Peter Entwistle who I'd invited down, as apparently you've been on his case this morning about buying! I've had to put him straight as he thought you had a std 360!
Of course,I could be talking utter bollox if it's not you.

andy
arh is me , i left about 2.40. sorry we didnt get chance to have a chat.

here's what its all about; young sam is car mad and autistic- i took his dad out and he told me sam was too nervous to go for a ride on his own so the oranisers agreed he and family could come into paddock area and have a look round away from the crowd/noise :)

always a pleasure to drive at this event ; i saw some old workm8s and their families too

I also took Sams dad out, a great guy-family man. Glad to be a part of this every year and look forward to next time:thumbsup:

Great day. A special mention should go to the drivers of the 430 spider; California and 458 (all black) as the 3 of them did not stop all day - Sorry not sure of their forum names

Amazing blokes well done and Thanks:thumbsup:

Massive Thanks from Little Havens!!!

Hey all, just want to say a massive thank you for all your hard work and support at the Super Car Day. Its always so good to see so many familiar faces as well as new ones.
I know i say this every year but it is so true, this event would not happen without you guys giving up your time and fuel all with the risk of problems occurring with the cars (as some of you unfortunately had!!) so we are really grateful. We had many of the families and children who use the hospice come along for the day and i'm sure you will agree that this can make it all worth while on its own.
A special thank you to Bruce Cuthbert for all his hard work on the lead up to the event and to Club Scuderia for their kind donation.
I will let you all know the final figure of what we all raised as soon as we have everything counted up.
Looking forward to the new venue for next year.......onwards and upwards!!

Ok guys and gals thats that so on to next year. I have asked Jason to look into Brands Hatch but you all drive and do track days so suggestions please with supporting information if you can. We need to get the attendance as we had at Dunton and more enthusiasm to drive. Thanks to you guys we managed this year but if the new event is to be successful we need to be a far more attractive proposition. A car committee would be good as they have at Dunsfold (who knicked the idea from us) :) as its a bit of a strain tbh. There are so many events now it is very competitive. I am going to suggest to Jason that we have a mini day at the Hospice to take the kids out and their families all for free of course , a morning would do it! Thanks again , now thinking caps on

Bruce,I heard a rumour that North weald was suggested?,they have facilities there on site for food and drink, may be something this could be looked at,its close to M25/M11 ,and loads of space should anything untoward ever happen(not that this has ever occoured as yet). and there's a large field to the back of the airfield which I believe can be used as well.

alternatively, we can always use AJ3XX's back garden.....:D

Wonder whether the BiB would let us use Boreham Airfield?, then we could have an official police attendance all with the blessing of them?
