355 Door Removal and Refurbishment

The window motor connected and the glass fitted ready to lift the frame into the door. The frame is inserted into the top of the door first then slides down into place.

I did not tighten the glass attachment bolts until the glass was adjusted into the correct location before attempting to close the door.

Seals attached to the inner face of the mirror plate. I used a few dabs of 30 minute epoxy to hold the seals in place prior to fitting.

Back together and adjusted. BTW, I made sure the mirror was functioning correctly before fitting the glass and re-installing the mirror.

Refit the door trim and all done.

I started off intending to do one door at a time but did both together. Thought it would be all done in a couple of weeks but it took six.

The cost?

£800 on new parts from Ferrari UK. Those seals are not cheap.

£100 on powder coating.

£500 painting the doors.
