11 years of not being used and being damp mainly, they tried but failed - I may send the old ones to the States to be refurbished - I have not decided yet. :hmmm:

Starting her was an extinguishers at the ready moment! The first few times we thought we were there we had a series of faults, like the metering head over fuelling - so we have had to have that refurbished and the warm up reg done and so on. weeks just seem to pass without progress - even though things are getting done were always waiting for something. :wall:

Light pods reassembled.

Aerofoil fitting, a combination of tools required to get in a very tight space!

Bonnet preparation, inside paint and foam fitting.

Wheel arch panels starting to be prepared, pressure wash clean first.

Door handles, rubbed down, primed and painted - will probably need another rub down and final finish - we'll see when they are dry.

Wheel arch liners etc freshly stone chip repainted, New seals on order.

Hello Mike,

Yes the 208 is sold, we have a time frame to complete the car. It will be completed on here - the buyer is checking in occasionally to get the updates.

Started reassembly of the doors, door frames first, The door glass was in quite a state.

New Blower fans fitted.
Front bumper first fit / New indicator - side lights fitted.
Rear lights fitted.
